PSG vs Bayern. PSG host Bayern Munich in the champions league quarter-final second-leg match as they aim to advance to the semis at the expense of the current champions.

PSG beat Bayern 3-2 at the Allianz Arena in a match that saw Bayern hit 31 shots with 12 on target while PSG had just 6 shots with 5 on target. Mauricio Pochettino’s men managed to catch Bayern on the break a couple of times and were able to score three away goals with Mbappe netting twice.

This win brought Bayern’s 19-game unbeaten record in the champions league to a stop. The fact that this win came away from home, makes it as impressive as their 4-1 victory against Barcelona at the Nou Camp. The Parisians won 4-1 in their Ligue 1 match against Strasbourg last weekend and will hope to win against Bayern on Tuesday night.

Bayern on the other hand will be looking to bounce back and overturn the tie in order to progress to the Champions League semifinals. The champions should be wary of PSG’s counterattacks even as they aim to control the ball. Hansi Flick will hope his team will be able to turn chances into goals after they only scored 2 of the 31 shots they made in the first leg.

Bayern’s recent match was against Union Berlin in the Bundesliga which ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw and this meant that Bayern have failed to win the last two matches. They will however hope to get back to winning ways when they play in Paris.
