It was an entertaining round of 16 stage that saw all “Group of Death” (Group F) members get knocked out. Hungary were knocked out first after finishing fourth in Group F then Portugal were knocked out by Belgium on Sunday night courtesy of the only goal of the match by Thorgan Hazard.

On Monday, Switzerland knocked out France 5-4 on penalties before England beat Germany 2-0 at Wembley on Tuesday night. The other big team that crashed out at this stage is Netherlands who were beaten 2-0 by Czech Republic.

Italy beat Austria 2-1 after extra time, Spain beat Croatia 5-3 after extra time, Denmark hit four past Wales without conceding while Ukraine beat Sweden 2-1 after extra time.
