The match started fairly balanced with both teams attacking the other’s defence but Arsenal lost Cedric Soares after 11 minutes due to a hip issue.The right back was replaced by Callum Chambers.After 20 minutes Liverpool hit Arsenal with a counter-attack and Robertson made a long pass to Diogo Jota who was speeding ahead of Arsenal’s defenders.Granit Xhaka was closest to him and had to commit on the ball but ended up kicking the Portuguese forward on the chest.The foul resulted in Xhaka being sent off at the 22 minute.Mikel Arteta now had to change tactics and he brought in Rob Holding for Nketiah.
