FC Porto on the other hand go into this clash aiming to overturn a 2-goal deficit and reach the semifinals for the first time since 2003 when they won the competition under Mourinho. Sergio’s men were unbeaten in six straight European matches before their 3-2 loss to Juventus that saw them knockout Juve via away goals rule.

The loss to Chelsea in the first leg was their second in Europe since their 3-1 matchday 1 loss to Manchester City. Sergio Conceicao is however confident that his team can overturn the result and advance to the semifinals.
